Introduction Consort Display Group is a design and manufacturing company in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This blog is written by Consort’s president, architect Roger Lepley, and other staff to share industry knowledge and alert readers to Consort news and product information. Consort was founded in 1983 as Kalamazoo Banner Works (KBW), one of the first companies to design and market vertical banners for street poles internationally. KBW was first to design banner hardware, (BannerFlex®), specifically to dissipate wind force through fiberglass technology. Later, the company name was changed to Consort when Display One® Exhibit System and Abstracta® Display System were added. Other products now include Dori Pole® Pennants, Podia® Tabletop Display, Abstracta Furniture and Billsboard™ Lighted Magnifier Table Tents. Roger attended Wittenberg U. and is a graduate of the University Of Colorado. His family is involved in the business with son, Bryan, VP of Manufacturing and daughter, Kathleen, a Sales Representative. Roger enjoys new product innovation and marketing for the company. He and the staff hope that you will read and react to the information here and suggest topics as well as ask related questions.
