| Introduction | I've been interested in religion since I came across a young man who was actually hoping for the end of the world. This was on a rather nutty Milwaukee BBS called, S.O.N., short for Salvation Online Network. This was in 1988 and he had his hopes up because a new book, titled "88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will be in 1988" by Edgar Whisenant had just been published. The world did not end in 1988, but my interest in nutty people and beliefs was tickled and I've been an addict ever since. |
