| Introduction | Prairie potholes: wetlands that randomly exist in the middle of the plains. They provide incredible habitat for migratory birds and incredible headaches for farmers who have to avoid them in their agricultural operations. Much like life, these little bumps in the landscape provide us with the duality of strife and tranquility -- teaching us that sometimes the most beautiful things in life emerge from our darker moments. |
