| Introduction | The statistics for Christian High School students abandoning their faith in College are overwhelming. And as a rising Senior, those statistics present first a reality, then a challenge. The reality that, many of my friends will reject what their parents have taught them most of their lives. The reality that, I could very well be one of those that shake off all connections to God. The reality, that the easy thing to do would be to sit down and shut up and cram my Christianity into the closet. But they present the challenge, to see if I can beat the odds. They challenge me to "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" 2 Peter 3:18. They challenge me, to witness and to live my life as a continuing witness to what Jesus Christ has done for you and me. I invite you to pray for me and to follow this Blog as I enter my Senior year and try to "Beat the Odds." |
