Introduction	After 25 years of working diligently taking care of children in an office and hospital setting, I made a decision to "retire" from pediatrics to be the primary caregiver of my granddaughter. Having "unstructured" time has allowed me to explore my higher purpose in life and focus my energies to helping parents and children via a different method than traditional in-office medical practice. I envision this blog as a way to help others through opinions and advice as well as an outlet for creative writing for me.
