| Introduction | Ahhhh. Summer is here and I'm determined to find a way to apply advice gleaned from "French Women Don't Get Fat" to life in Jersey. I will pedal my bike along high-traffic freeways while imagining them to be the cobbled streets of Paris. I will envision the open-air markets of France while making my gourmet purchases at a Jersey strip-mall. I will pretend to know good ingredients from bad. I will use the word "passion" as oft as possible in relation to food and while masquerading as a foodie I will create love; beautiful love in the form of food. |
