| Interests | Helping all cyclists and triathletes enjoy their ride to the fullest! If you are following the blog then look out for the date and posting of the Grand Opening Party. We will ride that morning and then have fun that afternoon. I won't really be selling anything that day strangely enough, no big sale, no blowout items. I just want to be free to talk to everyone, explain what I do here, why I do it that way and hang out. Also eat a lot of good recovery food from the ride that morning. This is not your typical bike shop so my grand opening is not going to be typical either. Forget the high end vibe and ridiculously expensive bikes I blog about. My first bike I bought from a local shop here in town some years ago so I could do my first triathlon. I had MAJOR sticker shock when I found out entry level was $800. Now I have "training" wheels that cost twice what my first bike cost...and whats worse is in my own head I justify it! hahaha I have been where you are at and every step along the way...figuring out most of it the hard way. Trial by error. Even if you think a bike from Shama Cycles is out of your budget it doesn't mean you can't be client. I am happy to help cyclists and recommend other brands and shops all the time. I don't want anyone to go through the same mistakes, wasted money, and discomfort that I did. Ultimately that is why I do what I do... |
| Favorite movies | Zoolander (funny cause its true) American Psycho (watch it twice...look past the violence and its a totally different movie...and even more disturbing) maybe its disturbing that I even mention this movie. Nah..I think the fact that I like Zoolander is worse. ;-) |
