Introduction	Native of the great state of Vermont. I grew up within minutes of Ben & Jerry’s – my earliest introduction to a corporation with a soul and social mission. Since then, I’ve worked closely with a number of multi-national companies in a range of industries, as a consultant, marketer, brand strategist, soothsayer, whathaveyou. Some have a broad mission at their core, but many still have their eyes squarely focused on revenue and upside. For most, value overrides values. This blog is a summary of my musings and observations on corporate benevolence, past, present and future. If I were an academic I would be far more responsible about my use of particular terminology. As it is, I’m not, so I won’t self-impose quite that much discipline. Ah, and the opinions expressed here are mine, and mine alone.
