| Introduction | I'm a young almost 53 year old. I'm a senior executive in a large corporate during the day/week, and with my wonderful partner of 10 years, we run Dexter Cattle, Alpacas and a few sheep on our 13 acre lifestyle block in the lower North Island of New Zealand. The space and beauty of the landscape is good for my soul, and I know I'm incredibly lucky to live here in paradise. My farm life is a great way to balance my corporate life! The only thing I'm unhappy with in my life these days is my weight - and I've finally accepted I need help to get it under control. On Feb 18th 2011, I had a gastric band fitted. I hope this blog will chronicle the journey, keep me honest, and connect me with others who can share their knowledge and experiences with me. |
