| Introduction | My name is the ANONYMOUS PEN and I moved home to New Orleans, from Manhattan, over eight years ago for what I thought would be a "brief respite" from the cruel world. I had a very successful career in the fashion industry when I returned home after experiencing a difficult divorce. Well, life never does work out as we think or plan it and here I sit, in New Orleans, eight years later, a stay-at-home-NON-mom! Life has been anything but restful. My beloved mother died 6 years ago from a rare cancer and shortly thereafter, my father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. My cantankerous father is doing just fine now, against all odds - having survived stage 4 lung cancer for over 5 years. I went from being a highly paid executive in the exciting world of fashion to the not-so-exciting job of caretaker of my very curmudgeonly father, YIKES! I am re-married to a wonderful man, named "Finn", who has two grown children and who is from the East Coast. I AM the mother of two beautiful, adorable dogs, an English Bull Terrier and a Terrier-mix. I love dogs, fashion, shopping, jewelry, travelling, eating, drawing, and drinking wine and scotch (on occasion!). |
