Introduction I’ve played tournament chess off and on for some 30 years. My peak USCF rating was 2149 (although, that was some time ago). During 2001-2005 I was head coach at Governor French Academy (Belleville, IL; a K-12 private school); during 2005-2007 I was assistant coach at Lincoln-Way Central H.S. (New Lenox, IL); and during 2007-2009 I was assistant coach at Lincoln-Way East H.S. (Frankfort, IL).
