| Favorite books | How can I choose? I teach English for heaven's sake! Some of them are: To Kill a Mockingbird, The Scarlet Letter, Short Stories (mostly by American authors such as Hemingway, Chopin, Tyler, etc), The #1 Ladies Detective Agency series, Harry Potter series, The Kite Runner, Many and various children's pictures books (Patricia Polocco is my favorite) and young adult lit (Jerry Spinelli, Paul Fleischman, etc), and other classics by people such as Khalil Gibran, Lady Murasaki, Henrik Ibsen, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Mark Twain, etc. |
