Questo blog nasce dalla voglia di condividere con la mia famiglia "a casa" in Italia, e con la mia famiglia "a casa" in America, la curiosita' per il cibo. Le ricette sono quelle con cui siamo cresciuti, che spesso ci mancano e che ci diverte cucinare. Il blog e' un ricettario con ricette ormai sperimentate da tempo che vengono dalle tradizioni di due mondi. Le ricette italiane hanno un'influenza tutta ortana e quelle americane hanno un'influenza tutta quilianese (Liguria) e sono tutte buonissime! A proposito...la foto e' la pigiatura dell'uva alla vendemmia dell'anno scorso a Chico, CA. Italian, Giorgetto's and Anna Rita's daughter. Two sisters: Silvia and Federica. Carlo's auntie. The only apple of the genealogical tree that fell and rolled in Washington DC 4 years ago. And, of course, Todd's wife here in America. This blog is my way to share with my family "at home", in Italy, and with my family "at home" in America, my curiosity for food. The recipes are the once that we grew up with, that we miss very often and that we have fun to cook. This blog it's a recipe book with recipes used for a long time and that come from both worlds. The Italian recipes are influenced from the Orte-area, while the American's have a Quiliano-area influence and we like them all! |
