She grew up in Ohio and attended Columbus College of Art and Design, majoring In fashion and advertising. She has studied under: Ed Gordon – Oils, Alix Anderson-acrylics. And has taken workshops from: Tony Couch-watercolor, Sammuel Morgan Price-Oils, Bruce Peil-Oil, Ann Templeton, oils, Bobbie Kilpatrick-Oil, George James- Watercolor on yupo, Carla O’Connor-Gouache, and Liz Hill. She has earned her TWS signature status in 2005 with the Texas Watercolor Society and her MSW signature status in 2009 with Mid South Watercolor Society.
