Introduction | My intrigue into breaking the effect of trauma in children drove me into education about 7 years ago. Exposed to complex trauma as a child, I saw how it subconsciously moulded me and the arduous journey it took me to develop a level of confidence and inter-personal relationships as an adult, I was determined to help children break free from cycles before it got into their mind and moulded their personalities. I succeeded at a small scale and in a very enriched,multi-cultural learning environment. I have since moved on to reaching out to others and helping on a larger scale as a certified counsellor and therapist. I find trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy training very interesting. |
