Introduction I was born in Southern California but left after high school to attend U.C. Berkeley. I lived in England for a year when I was a child and in Spain for two separate years, as a student and a teacher. After college, I worked at U.C. Berkeley for 6 years with international postdocs and faculty using J-1 and H-1B visas. In 1993, I moved east to work at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. While there, I received a Masters, writing my thesis on Mexican Immigration. I filed permanent residence cases for faculty and worked with J-1 students and scholars. In 1999, I moved to Reno, Nevada, to work at the University of Nevada, Reno, with both international students and faculty. After 4 and a half years, I went to work at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), overseeing the F-1 program there. During my time at TMCC, I became particularly interested in helping people file for PR through marriage to a U.S. citizen. In January, 2009, I moved to Davis, CA, to accept a position at the University of California, Davis, assisting international faculty and researchers with immigration petitions, especially in the J-1 and H-1B categories. I can be reached any time by email.
