| Introduction | As a young college graduate living in the city by the bay, I'm just trying to make it and figure out my place in the world... I'm in a transitional state, what John Mayer once dubbed the "quarter life crisis." I don't know exactly what I want or where I'm going- but I know what I believe and what I am passionate about, and I hope to find a path for myself that allows me to practice both of these concepts. I hope to realize the truths of the world we live in while still maintaining my hope and positivity, and not letting the pain that permeates our existence turn me into a jaded and cynical person. I'm very passionate about the world we live in, and yearn to see change, to see improvement- to see peace. I desperately am seeking ways for our society to live up to it's full potential, in peace with one another and the earth we are blessed to inhabit. I'm also about defying images, playing against stereo-types; you might never guess by looking at me that I'm a total tree-hugger because looks are deceiving. But make-up and my body are MY forms of art, and noone ever said you can't be a feminist who likes to look pretty |
