| Introduction | Hello, My name is Gordon Block, and welcome to gblockvt.blogspot.com. I am a senior communication major at Virginia Tech and a news reporter for Collegiate Times. I am also the President for the Virginia Tech chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. As a reporter, I have had the opportunity to take on many interesting and challenging stories, and in this process I have spoken to a wide range of people from numerous backgrounds. While I am here at Tech I hope to learn as much as possible so that I can carry these skills into what should be an extremely competitive job market. While I know a great deal already, I know there is much more I need to learn in order to find success.
