Introduction I have a life-long love of cooking and baking including one year of formal schooling in Culinary Arts. After discovering recently that I have a severe gluten sensitivity in addition to Type-1 diabetes, I have been eagerly learning about and experimenting with whole-foods cooking geared especially toward menus for persons with food allergies. I have also spent most of my life following a vegetarian diet, although my reasons for this are mainly environmental and socio-political rather than the often assumed animal rights motivation. (Not that I don't love cows!) I have discovered that not only does cooking fresh, unprocessed food make me feel great, but starting with "real" ingredients also makes just about any cook's results taste great! My passion in life is creating and sharing healthful and delicious meals for friends, family and anyone who'll let me put a plate on their table! "Remember the hungry, the sick, the friendless, the enslaved. Be thankful for what you have and may your gifts be used for the service of others."
