| Introduction | Amber Jones lives in Plano, Texas with her husband, Chris and their two children, Greyson and Riley. She taught at Parish Epsicopal School in Dallas for 7 years before starting their family. Now, Amber enjoys being at home with her son and daughter, soaking up their preschool years. They fill their days with activities that involve playdough, markers, scissors and paint, a constant running of the water hose in the backyard, and routine concerts in the car and kitchen, singing with spatullas to Jack Hartman Nursery Rhymes. These days only last so long! A Miracle Worth the Wait was inspired by Amber's son, Greyson. They often had conversations during Amber's second pregnancy about what was really happening in her growing tummy. Pregnancy is such a magnificent thing for even adults to ponder and wrap their heads around. For children, the anticipation of a new sibling is accompanied by so many thoughts and questions. One fall, crisp, cool afternoon, Amber was journaling and remembering some conversations she recently had with Greyson about their growing baby. Those conversations soon snowballed into a sweet story of how God was creating his baby sister. |
