| Introduction | Joanne’s passion for education, psychology, arts, and helping people who are looking for change in their lives informs her roles as a Life Strategies CMP Instructor, as well as her counselling work with people facing life and work changes. In addition to her work with Life Strategies, Joanne currently works with Training Innovations as the Service Delivery Manager for the Career e-Volutions project -- online programs that assist people with career exploration, training research, and job targeting. She has previously worked with teens struggling with eating disorders, as well as elementary age children with behavioural and cognitive challenges. Prior to this, Joanne managed a UBC psychology lab studying memory and attention, and worked for 9 years assisting in the development and administration of a private mediation company. In addition to counselling and instructing, Joanne is developing her art & writing practices through composition, editing, painting, and cartooning. |
