| Introduction | As a bereaved parent 30+ years ago, my focus in life changed. I began to write and speak on the important topic of pregnancy and infant loss, as well as general bereavement. I am involved in many groups, companies, and organizations that help bereaved parents and caregivers - Wintergreen Press, A Place to Remember, First Candle, International Stillbirth Alliance, and PLIDA. I also have an education degree and two decades of experience in teaching, starting and helping to administrate a small private school, and writing curriculum.
