IntroductionI am a mother of two, a SEN teacher, a member of Fife DLT, CPD tutor, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and a student working towards an M.Ed. currently focusing on Inclusive Practice. I love the learning experience that teaching gives me and the privilege of working with such inspiring minds every day is priceless. I love resources which support good learning and teaching, including technology and its effective use in education. I'm passionate about building educational systems which support all learners and dislike additional support needs being an aside or referred to as differentiation because that demonstrates a lack of understanding about equity. Differentiation is only part of an approach. I subscribe to the concepts of transformabilty and potential being immeasurable and limitless. All opinions expressed within these pages are solely my personal opinion and have no reflection on any other person or organisation.
InterestsI try to find time for walking in the rain which is a pleasure but I hate the soggy clothes afterwards, my dog tries her best to keep me fit and my family are my whole world.
Favorite moviesDirty Dancing, Top Gun, Coyote Ugly, The Commitments, Grease, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pretty Woman, Chicago...
Favorite musicAnything cheesy pop, Abba, 80's, Bowling for Soup - 1985, The Beautiful South - A Little Time, Meatloaf - Paradise by the Dashboard Lights, Pink, black eyed peas, just anything I can sing along to.
