| Introduction | I'm from Japan. I've been in U.S. since 1999. When Tsunami happened in 2011, I was in Fort Lauderdale. My co-worker told me about it in the morning. I saw the videos on line, and I just couldn't take it as real. My mind couldn't process as real but as if reading fiction. As I realize it was real that so many lives were suffered, I wanted to do something but was frustrated not be able to be in Japan. I decided to run for Japan whether it is going to make a difference or not. I made the trip in November that year to Japan and went to 2 towns that was swallowed by tsunami. Ishinomaki, Miyagi prefecture and Kamaishi, Iwate prefecture. |
