| Introduction | I'm Joy Johnston (dance name "Amira") and I have been belly dancing since 1995 and for many years, performed several nights each week in the Seattle area, sometimes logging in more than 200 shows a year. I'm now a mom of two sweet children and run a successful PR firm. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2014 and am fighting it with all I've got. I'm so grateful to be surrounded and lifted up by my wonderful sisters in dance. |
