| Introduction | I am a husband to a beautiful wife- Julia, a father of 1 little boy named Judah (16 months), a 2nd little boy named Gabe and a Christian seeking to be more like Jesus. At our 20 week ultrasound Gabe was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a severe congenital heart defect. I started this blog to talk about the history of HLHS and to tell our story along the way. My first few entries are papers that I wrote about HLHS for my English 102 class , but my subsequent entries will be describing our journey with Gabe and the many other aspects of life as we know it. I hope you enjoy it, and more than for your entertainment I hope it blesses you and your family. When we first found out about Gabe's special heart we knew that we would have an opportunity to speak into the lives of others and I believe that our blogs are only just the beginning.
