Introduction	Ryan and I were married at Mercyhurst College on October 30, 2004. After a few years we began to talk about extending our family and began the pregnancy experiment in the summer of 2008. We found out we were pregnant in August and I had a beautiful, and sickness-free, pregnancy for the entire 9 months. We welcomed Ava on April 28, 2009, after a few hours of unmedicated labor. Whew! Ava is a wonderfully calm baby, known to her cousins as Sweet Baby Ava. She gets stronger, smarter, and more beautiful every day.
