| Introduction | On completing the Masters degree in Geography (with a specialization in Advanced Geomorphology), I taught the subject at 10+2 level for six years at Delhi Public School, Digboi—a branch of the internationally reputed DPSS chain of schools. I completed my Bachelor of Education degree and a Diploma course in Disaster Management, while being in the service. At present, I am pursuing a Diploma programme from the University of Cambridge and an M.Phil Degree from a reputed Indian University. Since 2006, I have been teaching at Sarala Birla Academy (Aditya Birla Group) in Bangalore, India. I have the experience of teaching in C.B.S.E; I.C.S.E; I.G.C.S.E Curriculum and would gain the same for the I.B.Curriculum from 2009 onwards. I have presented project outlines and views on the environment and disaster related workshops organised by the WWF (NE India); Tinsukia District Sub-divisional Administration (Assam, India) and such others. |
