| Introduction | "It takes more brains to prepare a good dinner than it does to learn French and German or to write a good essay”. We, Maya and Lakshmi, are cousins currently staying in the United States. Even though both of us were interested in food and cooking at a very young age, we took it serious only after our marriage. What started off as a desire to please our husbands became a passion for us. The recipes posted here were a hit among our friends and relatives who motivated us to start a blog. We have also included some of their contributions. We have had our fair share of goof ups and mishaps and after a lot of practice we learnt some handy tips and techniques along the way which we would love to share with you. Since we hail from Kerala, the land of spices, the dishes might be too spicy for you, so please feel free to alter the amount of spices according to your taste.
