| Introduction | When Nick and I started training in 2008, I could not run a mile. On June 2009, we completed our first marathon. We have run at -20, in rain, in snow, on sheets of wet ice, at +82 (Hawaii). We run in the dark (Alaska), in the morning when we can, and at night if we have to. When I am not running, I work, play, and raise five kids. |
