Introduction	In high school I read Abbott's "Flatland". This romance about multiple dimensions has made me want to discover more of what there is to know about the nature of the world. As "Beyond the Center" may suggest, I think there may be the possibility of knowing, into a new dimension, so to speak. I would liken it to going beyond the center of a black hole and into a new universe.
