| Introduction | Go to the school of the samba every weekend was so common as to go to the cinema. Sunday lunches were ending in musical meetings, in which pans and the dishes were used like percussion instruments, drummed by the whole family. Created in this environment, Rui Moreira absorbed the cadence of the samba and of the Afro-Brazilian rhythms in his way to walk, to speak and to dance. Later, it was wrapped by the artistic dance, becoming one of the most representative Brazilian ballet dancers. Interpreter with personal characteristics, Rui brings in his body the confluences and the contrasts of the Brazilian culture. With his company « SeráQ. » he expose the nuances of being a Brazilian citizenship. Amid the voraciousness of the culture of masses, what invents and destroys the news day by day, he sharpens the senses for take in his dance the hidden details of the a human soul. Like an act, of the preservation, he goes deeply to the "roots" for rescue the sensibility of the sense and the poetry of the simple things of the life. |
