| Introduction | After living in Jodhpur in the Thar desert of India during the two hottest months of the year, living with an Indian family and working for a grassroots NGO, I packed my bags and caught a train out in favour of two months on the road. The road took me past the Taj Mahal and up to the foot of the Himalayas. After a quick break in Sri Lanka to extend my visa, I flew back to India to travel the backwaters of Kerala with Jeppe and then stopped in the little town of Cuddalore for another internship. |
