Introduction	Salaam (Peace)! Haneen Oriqat is a Muslim-American writer. She is an alumna of the University of California, San Diego, where she received a BA in Political Science and minor in Literature/Writing while taking extensive courses in Photography. She received her MFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis in Writing for Young People from Antioch University Los Angeles. Haneen was born and raised in San Diego. She is a lover of quotes, tea, the ocean, and photography. Despite her sarcasm and unhealthy amount of caffeine often getting her in trouble, Haneen has completed the manuscript for her first novel and is currently working on a second novel and memoir.
