| Introduction | All my growing up life, I longed to see the world: fly, swim, dive, sail, explore. So I did. Now I live in Farmington, NM, and it's a fine place to live once you've had adventures. My dream job would be getting someone to pay me to give the world my opinion. I know, those people are columnists (a dying profession), pundits, and talking heads. They are self absorbed, boring, and love to yak about what they think is going to happen next, and it never does. So currently, I am unemployed. My blog title derives from this character asset/defect: why on earth would I say something or argue a point if I thought it was wrong? Ongoing experience (I'm in my late 50s) continues to show I am often wrong, but that doesn't alter the concept: when I say something, I believe it to be true. Actually,I'm often making a joke. At any rate, it's just my opinion. |
