| Introduction | I volunteered in radio at WKYS while at the University of Maryland, College of Journalism. I interned and was hired as promotion’s assistant after graduating with my BA. I worked at BET as entertainment coordinator and then entertainment director of its restaurant division. I returned to radio as programming assistant and was recruited as the first website administrator and coordinator of the Russ Parr Morning Show. Russ then groomed me to be executive producer. I’m a wife to Justin and mother to Justin and Keaton, Madison our Shih Tzu. I love outdoorsy stuff; camping, fishing, biking, hiking, skiing, motorcycles and travelling. I helped start a female motorcycle club in the DC area and was a member for 10 years. I get a rush from SHOPPING but the biggest rush is bargain hunting. I’m creative and love making things including decorations for my church. I’m a closet tech geek. You’ll rarely catch me without my iPhone or iPad. I’ve been wearing my hair natural for 11 years and love it. But I will wear a weave from time to time to change it up and to give my hair a break. |
