| Introduction | Teacher-turned-photographer and blogger, based in Hamburg. Fascinated by photography since the early nineteen-eighties. Self-taught, inspired by Michael Freeman’s excellent books, and spurred on by initial setbacks. Developed interest in documentary photography and people photography while working as a teacher, directing a school drama group, and teaching photography courses at school. ———————————————— 1988 to 1992: photographer to the Anglo-American Theatre Group at Christian-Albrechts-Universität, Kiel. ———————————————— 2005: went digital.—Still enjoying the new creative freedom. ———————————————— 2007: after early retirement from teaching decision to spend the remains of the day as a photographer and blogger. |
