Introduction	I am an Indian by birth, a Maharashtrian by domicile, an Anglo Indian by parentage and an East Indian by marriage. My Anglo Indian heritage allows me to straddle tastes ranging from Irish Stew to Idli Sambar with a little Burmese cuisine thrown in: my paternal grandma made a mean Kaukswe – reminiscent of her time in Rangoon where my father was born. The EI influence has made me aware of family and of customs and cuisines which otherwise would have passed me by. My Catholic upbringing has happily exposed me to the delights of music, literature, art, architecture and needlecraft. I love reading, writing, crochet and my husband (not necessarily in that order) which is why they feature prominently in my blog.
Favorite movies	Anything to do with music, history and crime!
Favorite music	Classical and Plainchant
Favorite books	Crime Novels - I'm addicted. History is fast catching up as a favourite. And in heaven, I'm going to look up Herriot, Durrell and Gallico!
