Introduction	I am a Historian, Blogger and an Animal Rights Activist. I studied in Delhi University from where I took my BA (Hons), MA and M Phil degress in History. I took my Ph D in History from the UNiversity of Hawaii, Manoa in 1987 and am now the Professor of History in a Central University in South India. I have specialized in Vijayanagara History, Medieval History, Global History and Historiography and have taught these for over thirty years. I also run the HRDC of the UNiversity in addition to being Dean.
