Introduction Florida has been my home since 1960, and I have seen big changes since then. As a University of Florida graduate civil engineer, I have wandered all over the state for business and pleasure. In 2008 I decided to start a website based on my knowledge of Florida and travel within the state. The result is Florida Backroads Travel The website focuses on the history, heritage and cultural aspects of Florida. It takes its visitors on trips along the Florida backroads where Old Florida can still be found.
