| Introduction | I have been closely involved in this accident, and it's dreadful human consequences, since the day it occurred back in 2004. Following the arrest of the microlight inspector in this case, and the subsequent charge of gross negligence manslaughter made against him, I helped his defence team with some technical investigations. Once the criminal case was completed, early in 2008, I was asked to assist the legal team defending the inspector against civil damages claims. I have been involved in aircraft test and investigation work for most of my life, so have taken great pains to ensure that the information in this blog is accurate and honestly portrayed. I do not feel that it is right or proper for me to state my personal opinions as to the cause of this accident, readers must draw their own conclusions from the information provided here and elsewhere. |
