Introduction	This blog is all about my adventures trying to grow some veggies in my own veggie patch in my back garden. Put our names down for an allotment about 6 months ago and got offered one by our council at the weekend. Went and looked at it and realised what a monumental task having an allotment would be (especially as it was a plot that had never been 'worked' before and we are complete novices in growing anything, let alone veggies). So decided to start small, closer to home and have decided to turn the small strip running up the side of the path into a veggie patch. Not sure how long this venture will last, how long before I get bored, but am going to give it my best shot!!
