| Introduction | I am a homebirth midwife practicing in the Southern United States. This blog has been created to share a few light hearted happenings from some of the births I attend. I love the images of light evoked by goddess Lucina. There is also a Spanish phrase that means to give birth: "Dar La Luz," which literally translates as "give to the light." These are beautiful ways to describe the sacredness of passing from one world to the next. |
