Introduction	My husband Eric and I met in 2004 in college and married in July of 2006. We gave birth to our son Carter Nicholas on December 2nd, 2008. Carter was diagnosed with DS shortly after birth. What we thought to be the scariest moment in our lives has turned out to be the most joyful experience we will ever know. Our child enlightens our lives daily and I can honestly say if you meet him, he will change your life as well. My goal in my lifetime is for you to see Carter not the DS, he is no different from you, he just happens to have been blessed with an extra chromosome. In August of 2010, our family expanded. Carter became a big brother to our sweet little Nolan Joseph. Thanks for reading about our adventures!
