| Introduction | I am a homeschooling mom to Ruby (8, adopted from Liberia), Lily and Reid (7-year-old twins), Claire (3 years old), and Sweet Ivy Mae (1 year old). I am also the lucky wife to Donnie. We believe that the family is the most fundamental social institution and the preferred means of preparing children to be productive members of society. We practice family-centered education. Our children learn primarily under the immediate direction, guidance, and support of their parents and extended family members. We provide a wide array of learning opportunities, extensive real-world experience, a flexible schedule, and the ability to respond to the specific needs and inclinations of each child. |
