| Introduction | This is my personal website. My interest is African development and the social, political and business interests which affect conservation. I approach informing myself about these issues differently from other people. Perhaps I haven’t studied as much as they, or I lack institutional references. But I have a different take on the best way to understand the situation. If you take a look at the About Me section of this site you will see an extensive package of experience. I propose, and you can accept or disagree as you wish, that these stand as my credentials. Admittedly, this career path is untraditional but it was done deliberately as an “experiential experiment.” I would like to use that experience to help organizations whose interests overlap with mine. Most particularly the behind the camera organization of the planned documentary films. I want to keep working on African Biodiversity issues, but I want to also take a step back to my roots in Canada and view these African issues from a western perspective hoping to help other people see what an incredible and inspiring place it is. |
