About me

Occupation Homemaker, aka "domestic goddess"
Location United States
Introduction Hello everyone, I'm Cindi, aka "domestic goddess", and I consider myself to be a country girl at heart. I'm also a mother to 3 daughters, and I have 1 granddaughter. Being a country gal, I enjoy preparing down-home country meals for my family. I also enjoy sharing recipes with others, collecting cookbooks, reading about the paranormal, and spending time with my family.
Interests I enjoy cooking, baking, collecting cookbooks, sharing recipes with others, reading about the paranormal, and spending time with my family.
Favorite Movies Lillies of the Field, To Sir with Love, Guess Whose Comming to Dinner, Superman, Somewhere in Time, Anna Karenina (starring Christopher Reeve), Driving Miss Daisy, Murphy's Romance, The Gift of Love, Harvey, Powder, Prancer, One Special Night, Wild Hogs, Song of Bernadette (1943), The Egg and I (1947) Ma & Pa Kettle Movies, plus any Francis the Talking Mule movies.
Favorite Music I pretty much enjoy listening to all kinds of music, but I most enjoy music from the late 50's and early 60's (especially Motown), plus music from the "disco" era, and the big band era. While I am not overly fond of country music, I do enjoy listening to Alan Jackson, and Ronnie Milsap. As a young teenager, I was quite a fan of Johnny Rivers, and to this day I still 'am. I'm still a fan of Rick Astley. After all, who else can sing the song, "When I Fall In Love" just as good as, or even better than Nat King Cole, but Rick Astley. Another artist I am also fond of is, Jake Simpson (and the winner of the 2004 "Star Search"). There's no one else I know who can sing Stevey Wonders hit songs better than Stevey Wonder, but Jake Simpson.
Favorite Books While others may enjoy reading books by famous authors, I on the other hand much prefer to read books by famous psychics, and books about the paranormal, and those who have experienced near death experiences, alien abductions, ghostly hauntings, etc... I also enjoy reading cookbooks as if they were novels. My 3 all-time favorite cookbooks are: Betty Crocker's Cookbook (1973) A Campbell Cookbook Cooking with Soup (1976) Pillsbury Kitchens' Family Cookbook (1979)
