| Introduction | I had a life-changing experience at the age of 7. My parents took me to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to pick up relatives returning from Rome. The whole experience was amazing to me – I still remember many of the details and the excitement and feeling of be at Pan Am. From that moment I’ve wanted to travel the globe and am delighted to be able to share that I’ve lived in 9 US states as well as Guam, England, South Africa, China, and Malaysia. Moving about the planet with family as well as on my own helps me understand the needs of those relocating to San Diego. So much needs to be done upon arrival and there are always many new things to learn. It is my hope that your experience in San Diego becomes a pleasant adventure, with as few pitfalls as possible. |
