Introduction	I am thrilled to begin my 26th year teaching at Dryden! I began my teaching career in District 25 when I did my student teaching at Dryden in the spring of 1999. After student teaching in a 1st grade classroom and graduating from the University of Illinois, I was thrilled to officially join the Dryden staff as a 3rd grade teacher. After teaching 3rd grade for three years, I moved to 2nd grade to further expand my teaching experience. I taught in 2nd grade for five years, during which time I acquired a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and earned my National Board Certification. I also began working on a second masters degree in reading. After earning my reading specialist degree in 2008, I began working part-time as a reading specialist at Dryden and continued in that position for five years. I was thrilled to move back into the classroom in 2012, and I am so excited to begin my 13th year in kindergarten!! Looking forward to a great year with you! :)
