| Introduction | I've been a researcher, writer, and editor for over 20 years. While most of that experience was rather technical in nature, I more recently evolved into writing more personal fare. In the past 6 years, I've had a non-fiction book published by McGraw-Hill, have authored several blogs, and began sharing my experiences by providing freelance editing services. What makes me different from many other editors and proofreaders is that I've been on both sides of the pen. I've either been the one wielding the pen edit another person's work, or cringed at the red ink applied to my own masterpieces.
